Israel's systematic attempts to kill the entire Iranian opposition leadership in Iran is indicative of what (some) of us have been saying— Israel doesn't not want to turn the IRI into a democratic republican state, it wants there to be no state. It wants a rubble-state, Gaza or Yemen or worse.

It is really worth saying that, in many ways, the war between Isreal/the US and Iran really started during the Biden presidency. Biden gave Israel the go-ahead and provided weapons, intelligence, and interceptors with a supporting aircraft carrier.
