one of my favorite books of the year is out today: BLACK FLAME by @scumbelievable.bsky.social is a seething, compelling, nasty story about how repression hollows you out, and how you can never be self-abnegating enough to please people who hate you. It’s repulsive, erotic, heartbreaking. 12/10 stars
