The Fly on 35mm felt so right. Last night, Ambler Theater got deep into gooey insect politics with a theater full of fellow sci-fi horror lovers.

It was a party on the lot of @mahoningdit.bsky.social for Nobuhiko Ôbayashi’s HOUSE.

Despite the rain, there was still a great turnout and it was fun mixing it up with horror fans to watch this party movie. The 35mm print was excellent.

Not So Silent Cinema premiered their new score for The 1915 lost horror film The Golem at the Ambler Theater. There just isn’t a better way to experience these visuals than with the live musical accompaniment. It’s an outstanding show.

There Will Be Blood looked amazing on that huge screen. Keep an eye out for more, later this month, they are screening The Godfather.

Monster Vegan let us host our Fall zine release party and it got Faustian bargains and glam rock. It was a hell of a time being around fellow movie lovers. We are grateful for all those that came out to say hello.
