Russ Vought, who I am sure is leading cuts now at NIH, has a daughter with cystic fibrosis who benefits from some recent drugs on the market. The mother has talked about this publicly. I often wonder if Russ ever thinks about the connection between what NIH does and his own daughter’s health.
