100%. I hated on this game for a long time after playing it at launch, gave it another shot during Covid and it's easily one of the best in the series. Wild what bug/performance fixes and a banger DLC can do for a game.

Pokémon Red & Green sold poorly in Japan when they launched in 1996, only catching on months later. Apples and oranges, I know, but this is indicative of the shift in how execs at game publishers, streaming services, and Hollywood studios need instant results or they pull the plug. It's unhealthy.

4. Resident Evil Requiem

Now this is how you do an anniversary game! Feels like 2 very different types of RE shoved into one game, my only real complaint being I want more of both. Fun callbacks to classic RE, great refinements on both horror and action focused gameplay, great time start to finish.
