Simplified model of Enterobacter sp. SA187 impact on Arabidopsis thaliana under low N conditions
SA187 inoculation promotes plant growth under low nitrate by modulating the expression of high-affinity nitrate transporters (HATS) through both ethylene-dependent and independent pathways. NRT2.5 is strongly upregulated in presence of SA187 in an EIN2-dependent manner in both shoots and roots, while NRT2.6 shows tissue-speciο¬c regulation: downregulated in shoots, and upregulated in roots, with a partial ethylene independence.

Model describing the role of LD in transcription regulation
A. A complex comprising LD is recruited to transcription sites thanks to its ability to interact with the MED18 subunit of the Mediator complex. RNA Pol II dephosphorylation decreases the transcription rate.
B. Hypothesis concerning the role of LD during replication stress: after detecting collisions between the replication and transcription machinery, the recruitment of LD may enable the inhibition of transcription, the resolution of the transcription/replication conflict, and the replication fork restart
