I go to Whitewater Draw at least once a year. It's near the end of crane season here with peak being Jan&Feb. loads of other great options as southern AZ is a bird & dark sky paradise. PM if you want a convo.

9yo great nephew leading Wed after a 9 day visit. No one better frickin mention trains to me for at least a month. Hahaha his obsession is quite something. 🚂⛔️🥰

My Mom has dementia and it isn't helped at all by Fox blaring 10+ hours a day. The disordered analysis she is able to communicate is devastatingly sad. Oh and she gets agitated all the time. Correlation does equal causation sometimes. And now I weep. 😭

I went on a native plant field trip to Sonora a couple of years ago. 3 nights at a great ranch with amazing food. The number of white ladies who were freaking out about no salad for lunch was astounding and embarrassing.

Yesterday tradcath BIL wanted to make cinnamon toast for young nephew and asked if I had cinnamon. I looked at him and asked 'what do you think I am? A heathen?' The look he gave me was hilarious and then we laughed. 🤓

The prospect of moving all my precious stuffs out of the guest bedroom (AKA my studio/office/sanity space) makes me cwazy. Family visitors arriving Tuesday for a week who are not spiritually aligned with us. Gonna have to smudge after like I haven't smudged before.
