you can’t say “voting for the least bad candidate fails, look how it’s turning out” when the issue is 20 million REGISTERED voters didn’t vote, 100 million on top of that didn’t register, and 77 million voted *for* his worst elements.

You’re describing privilege. I broadly agree with what would be described as the “far left” but I vote practically when necessary. Black people are one of the most villainized, marginalized people in this country and there’s a reason why we vote the way we do.

I’m saying that too many people let the perfect be the enemy of the good. We make progress and then backslide because the progress isn’t progressing fast enough. Building is hard. Destroying is easy. We’re at a disadvantage because people want to believe building is easy.
