1. He doesn’t want people who do their jobs, only what he tells them to do.

2. He wants to privatize everything so he can give contracts to his friends and donors.

3. Less oversight means he can get away with more.

We really need to know if Trump directly authorized Musk to pursue access to Treasury's payment systems. Either answer is bad, in a different way:
