I don't know why the multiplayer in Andromeda failed to capture me nearly as effectively as ME3's did, given that a lot of the systems of the game felt good to use in the moment to moment. I'd kill to see multiplayer return in the next Mass Effect title, someday. Eventually. In a dream.

ME3 Multiplayer was like cooperative Nirvana to me growing up. Every multiplayer character felt unique, interesting, and genuinely innovative mechanically. I felt like I was playing a game that was blazing a trail for future iterations in the IP, and it played well. 1/2

My wife and I recently finished rewatching FMA:B and it holds up so well. It's such an incredible story. The show's only flaw is the way it clearly assumes the viewer has either read the manga or watched the original adaptation; once you're past that point in the story it's straight gold.

The series is complete, the last book dropped in 2017 I believe. It follows a magical theatre troupe that gets inevitably sucked into political machinations as the series goes on. Very character driven and focused. I enjoyed it a great deal, even if it might not be for everyone on vibes alone.

Precisely those! I love them dearly, just re-read them this year in parallel with my wife's first time through. For me growing up Rohan was always a bit of a male role model, at least in regards to what he dreamed and worked toward.

Mercedes Lackey's Dragon Jouster series is such a consistent warm blanket of a quadrilogy for me. I love the setting, and I love the dragons. "Joust" in particular is burned into my memory.
