I think L and I just did THE most domestic thing: prepped their flat for guests, cooked food and bow they left to fetch the guests while I handle the rest of the cooking.

I am officially off from work for a whole week and then immediately off on a business trip the day I return 🤭

She is fine, mostly shock and some bruised ribs and hips, but I don't wanna think of how bad it might've ended if nobody was with her since where she crashed was a small valley that's hard to see from the pistes.

Context: L and I went skiing today and somehow picked up a solo skier who had a hard time getting down. She was on her own bc her husband had abandoned her for the final run.
She ended up crashing into some trees, brush and rocks and L and I called Bergwacht and stayed with her until they came.

Also, if you need help, try and cross your skis or poles, especially if they're bright colours mIf they're not, turn them over so the black underside faces uphill and alerts people!

PSA: If you see someone sitting at the side of the piste with their skis or poles crossed, do stop and ask if you can help! Crossed skis/poles means something happened and even if they already called for help, they'll appreciate it.
