this is my theory for why deadlock is so popular. valve is the only company left capable of writing characters who are dicks to each other in a low-stakes way

The Steam Next Fest is over. Our demo will be remaining up indefinitely, but we'd like to thank y'all for turning out over the past week anyway. This has been the best reception we've ever had for a demo, and we're extremely happy that it's been resonating with players.

An easy exercise is, if the NYT believes in the open exchange of ideas, who are your favorite communist or anarchist writers at the NUT

I think it's 2 things:
-TDM is high tension all the time. People wanna play it, but it tires them out quicker than modes w/ downtime. Publishers want longer sessions.
-TDM doesn't have space for "content." once you play 2-3 games of Q3DM6 you know it, but battle royales have drop zone variety etc.

You can't see the new enemy very well in this clip so here's a turnaround.

I have a pretty consistent set of principles on this stuff that which I feel have served me well. Targeting or carelessly killing civilians is unjustifiable and unacceptable; broad definitions of who shouldn’t be included as “civilians” should be rejected. So many people don’t deserve to suffer.
