Dalek Decimus

I used to love Halloween and this time of year but it really has lost it's novelty along with Comic Cons. These days its playing Quake on PC (best FPS ever), getting back into Heroquest and Radio Control Model Aircraft. Here is a level I am making as well as one of my model aircraft.

This was taken two years ago, when we went to a college in Birkenhead, Liverpool to help a student with a fan film.

Comic Cons are great for trundling the Dalek in a safe, dry and flat location but I must admit, other then seeing amazing things at Project Dalek a lot of Comic Cons are starting to loose thier novelty.

I'm going to be taking a leave of absence from attending Comic Con's - at least for the rest of this year. I need to concentrate on other things and taking the Dalek out is getting expensive. I don't do it for money but I would rather not be out of pocket in these "trying times".

Unfortunately due to transport issues, Dalek Decimus won't be attending Comic Con Wales.

I think a group of us with Daleks should do a publicity stunt and go to London and say we are taking over Parliament as they are inferior beings...

Dalek Decimus will be attending Comic Con Wales on 9th-10th August with Project Dalek. As things currently stand, I won't be doing any other Comic Cons for the rest of the year unfortunately.

Looking forward for the release of Dr Who Meets the Scorpion fan film that myself and my other Dalek (Vexx) had the pleasure of being in. While its a fan film the production are professionals.

UK houses are not really built for having 2 Daleks. Maybe one day I will get to clear my garage of dead spiders from 1977 and turn it into a man cave.

Going to a trundle at the Ffos Caerffili market.

This stage I like being in a town, countryside near, Cardiff 20 mins if need. Downside, you need to add an hour just to get to near Almondsbury. Glastonbury hour half away. Seldom hear Welsh here, mostly mid or north Wales, isolated areas. I'm crap at languages. School/jobs are less.

If wanting the same as where you are, the Cardiff equivalent would be Cowbridge Rd. Unlike you, my wife who moved from elsewhere, I stayed in Bristol too long. Compare everywhere to it, even though not been back in 4 years and in no hurry to. Glad we left as too gentrified. Was good 15-20 years ago

Took the Dalek out to Caerphilly for the first time. Something I have been meaning to do for years.

Found you on here! Oh where are you moving to? A lot of people from Bristol have apparently moved to South Wales in last 5 years. We lived here 6 years now and no one really speaks it here in South Wales. It's only the north/north west and isolated areas.

Unfortunately due to personal circumstances, Dalek Decimus has had to pull out of Comic Con Liverpool. I hope all those who go have a wonderful weekend and I am very disappointed I won't be there.

Dalek Decimus will be his first ever MegaConLive at the Birmingham NEC with Project Dalek!

Finally got around to painting these and they look bloody brilliant and came out much better then I was expecting.
