Amen - a pain when you actually need a loan but never a reason to have it unfrozen otherwise.
So upsetting you need an account to do this with all the companies I never asked to rate my credit in the first place.
Amen, Jim! I’m reminded of the scene from “Hackers” where the Director of Security explains the breach to the board and how somebody didn’t follow his guidance on passwords.
It was too on the nose (even holds up in 2026 😬). That said, we have slightly better enforcement tools now than in ‘95
Cyberattacks = war. That’s increasingly public opinion globally.
Interesting read. Hopefully countries tread carefully with one another in this theater.
Kayak just dunked on Millennials for booking trips on laptops and I feel personally attacked

During the install of trying this, I realized this thing is way too powerful for a mere mortal like me.
Not today Satan.
Maybe on a computer I never use for anything important… which would kinda defeat the point?
A social media for bots? We’re giving AI the worst of the internet
02.02.2026 20:46 — 👍 2 🔁 1 💬 0 📌 1I kinda liked Mercy. That said, I appreciate anyone making a decently high budget sci-fi movie these days.

I would vote in-office v. WFH to start a career, my $.02.
I can’t speak highly enough about the cyber profession but you have to WANT it.
Super competitive and you usually need to grind as a grunt for years before you make real $$$ and do anything fun.
Can’t speak for law as a career.
Cybersecurity is harder to break into but way more fun.
Functionally, cyber is cheaper to start (don’t need advanced degree to start) but will also usually pay less for entry level.
What’s make you interested in cyber v. Law?
PS - sorry can’t help with tuition
I’d watch a livestream of this type of competition. Capture the flag - human v. AI 🤖

I think the entire movie Marty Supreme is rage bait.
Shitty people doing shitty things. The most egregious dialogue to make you hate every character.
The most important line of the movie muted relative to background noise.
If you want to be angered & bored for 2.5 hours, buy your ticket now.
This is why black mirror is mandatory watching in my book. Gotta prepare for the future 🫠

Was this a crypto use-case? Curious if/when one would consider TEE for building an AI application… still trying to wrap my head around this space.
This is definitely further down the stack than I’m familiar with
I like crypto but the reality of avg people being technical/responsible enough with their life savings and NO intermediary is also terrifying for 95% of the population.
People would say “use a crypto service” then but it seems you have the same intermediary risks….
Super misleading headline but decent content:

I think HelpDesk outsourcing will be looked at in 2026. Especially with better, security focused AI coming onto the market
Yeah, wonder if we could build something on top of BSky to make it more interesting to the infosec community?
Any thoughts?
Or is it simply waiting until we naturally get more infosec people & memes here.
Cause agree that’s gonna take awhile…
I always thought a decentralized version would come along and kill Twitter. Musk might’ve helped speed it up.
BSky/Mastodon are cool architectures for a future digital commons - just need to keep adding cool infosec people here.
Don’t need another online political echo chamber!
It happened for a brief moment today where my “smart tv” wouldn’t let me go to any apps and 1st showed me a default ad.
I couldn’t click out, couldn’t mute… and for a second, I saw the horrible future.
I’m currently hoarding books.
Whoa, that’s a lot of ca$h
