Red lapis?

Sweet!

On a cluttered table sits a small glass bowl filled with tiny beaded angels. Here's some keychains I spent a couple of nights assembling. They're hopefully going to find their way into The Seeker in Locke by next weekend along with a re-stock of lion dancer earrings.

I just need to get those earrings made.

We won't be able to make a claim with our insurance company because despite raising our deductible to $2000 they have just raised our premiums again and they are now more than double our actual car payments.

Our post office finally issued a warning through the mail about the cluster boxes being vandalized. They've done nothing else. We're fairly confident we know who did this, but we have no proof so we are on the hook to pay for the damages to the cars ourselves.

I sent it to my mother because that's who I made it for.

The beginning of a loom knit scarf is stretched down the knitter's (that's me) denim-clad leg. The project is still attached to a small wood-framed knitting loom with off-white plastic pegs. The project is being made using variegated yarn that is creating a diamond plaid pattern with interweaving diagonal bands of red, black, white and gray.

There are so many rules around what can and can't be donated to food banks. I was surprised they couldn't take the things that were being given to the employees!

It might be wise to approach the food bank first and make sure they can accept the donuts.

It really was that simple, too.

Sometimes I woke up with an unexpected 50lb case of bananas in my car and it became my job to distribute them. It nade people smile. It sowed harmless chaos. It was good all the way around.

I miss the random bananas.
