Ram-Horned Jackalope looking serious but small. Large curved horns like a Ram instead of the classic deer antler jackalope style. Tan Fur with white face and chest markings.

What if jackalopes had ram features instead of deer? I think idea should be explored more. This little guy's gonna uppercut you right in the jaw. Like a tiny furry missile.

I've been practicing more painterly style again. I'd like to get that Field Journal style down.

A post from twitter by me that I made on June 7th, 2021 which shows a screenshot of indie game "Cave Story" by Studio Pixel. The screenshot is of a dialogue interaction with a gunsmith who had an unfinished weapon of theirs stolen by the protagonist, who went through the entire game using it without even knowing. In response to this, the gunsmith gives a finished version of the weapon, far more powerful than any other weapon in the game. The screenshot highlights his final phrases given to the protagonist: "As long as there is someone who will appreciate the work involved in creation, the effort is time well spent. To this end, I will continue to create for as long as I can."

Ever since I read it this dialogue back in 2021, I've always made a commitment to document my process for onlookers.

Furthermore, it's helped me cope with the idea of releasing something not 100% complete because someone will appreciate that creation process.

And that, is a beautiful thing.
