You would be kicked out of any writer’s room in existence if you had the villains celebrating a Great Gatsby-themed party while taking away food benefits from millions of poor people.

There was zero messaging in Harris's platform on gender or pronoun stuff. It was the Republicans' relentless dehumanization of trans people that changed public opinion on it. Republicans, especially Trump, campaign on fear and bigotry, and trans people have been their golden goose.

This is my neighborhood too, I live in s.e. Evanston. The Rogers Park incidents were 5-10 minutes down the street as well. These people are all over my city. We are being terrorized by our own government.
