My bf is a Pokémon TGC nerd. Today we went to three different card shops so that he could guide me in buying my first deck. It’s based on the two tea ceremony themed Pokémon. I found a Winnie the Pooh themed play mat. We also got vegan mac and cheese. Now THAT’S a fun Saturday for the nerdy gays 😄

I’m still old school enough to hope and trust that human professionals will double check the test results, but it’s exciting for sure!!

The hearing aid world is similar. We’ve had AI in hearing aids since the early 2000s, but now it’s capable of doing so much more in terms of background noise processing and identifying signal speech in a speech babble. Using a lot more energy per charge, but hopefully that will improve!

I went to college with guys obsessed with the “shower orange”… the animalistic eating of an orange while in the shower, juices getting in all sorts of places where citrus juice should never go… 🫣
