Chapter 8: Apprehension Summary: Spy jolted awake after a moment, pulling himself out of Engineer's arms. He was practically gasping for breath, every inch of his panic completely audible. “Hey- hey, woah, you're alright.” Engineer said softly. “I… I-” Spy stuttered out, his hands coming up to feel his neck. Spy quickly curled himself back up in Engineer's arms, and Engineer held him closely. Spy buried his face against the warmth of Engie’s neck, but didn't stop shaking. Engineer rubbed his back softly, soothingly, “You're safe.” He repeated.
