Trump’s executive order has left refugees hanging infear & uncertainty.Many are stuck inthe USRAP program,waiting for interviews that may never come because of the ban.At the same time,they’re unable to receive donations or support they desperately need to survive,These left countless people hanging

No one should starve for simply being who they are 🌈

I literally just got an email from X saying my account was blocked because many days ago I said that the LGB w/o the T lot “shot themselves in the foot” because it was never just about trans people. Apparently aphorisms are violence but trying to remove LGBTQ rights isn’t!

I try my best to give actual practical support to ppl suffering even worse hardships around the world, but I’m on a v ltd income as I can’t work due to serious illness. I hope ppl can respect this & understand that whilst I can use connections to source aid & signpost ppl, I hv no spare money.

These lovely ppl are stranded there simply for being queer.

Thinking about Gaza and Kakuma (SO @lesbiankakuma2.bsky.social) and how poverty is tied to cost. With prices so high: $1k for a bag of flour, what on earth is the poverty rate in these places and whether any % of those populations could be remotely near it. It’s a cruel, cruel world
