Last night, I showed my husband the “For Our Children” benefit concert for AIDS, which I had on VHS as a child of the 90s, and really influenced my performance style.

Disney did something special with that concert. Have they done anything like this recently? I know they have the ability to.

The latest episode of The Amazing Digital Circus is taking up more headspace than usual because I’m processing A LOT of shit.

Trying to sleep and focus on my day job as much as possible in the month of August. I am booked every single weekend in September, and my October and November schedules are almost completely full. August HAS to be my prep month.

The usual “stress insomnia” is back. I fall asleep before midnight, wake up around 3am, and can’t fall back asleep for the rest of the night. The worst part is that this time, I can’t blame it on work stress. This isn’t work-related. This is “me” related. I can’t really get rid of that. 😣

I got back home from performing in Richmond and CRASHED all morning until the afternoon. I’m very happy that I have some days with nothing planned. I need those days to recover from nonstop busy days with my day job, makeup gigs, and performances. 🥱🥱🥱
