I've been saying this! He knows most of the players and him just being there would be a minor lift to some of them. He's had to steer the team though injury crises before. He knows the importance of mentality.

The club will still exist. It'll be a weird year but we will get back into the PL before too long. We'll probably lose some good players but we'll have a great opportunity to train up some youngsters.

This is a broad commentary on "they're professionals". They are! They get paid a huge amount and get to do what they love and have plenty of support behind the scenes.

They're also young people without a lot of life experience. They're not 45 year old accountants.
