The Government is considering passing legislation to strip Peter Mandelson of his peerage.
If this happens, Michelle Mone's name MUST be added.
Covid Crooks have no place in the House of Lords.

We stand united with all victims of state harm.
It's time to put an end to cover-ups and the disgrace of victims waiting decades for justice.
Enough delay. The Government needs to pass the Hillsborough Law now.
Thank you to everybody, from MPs to Campaigners, who stood up and spoke out to save the Hillsborough Law over the last few days.
The Government has listened.
Now they must do the right thing and get the Bill passed without caveats or carve-outs.
www.theguardian.com/football/202...
The Government must not move forward with its plans to weaken the Hillsborough Law.
If it does, MPs need to stand behind the victims of state cover-ups and injustice and vote for Ian Byrne MP's amendments.
The Government promised THE Hillsborough law; MPs must now deliver it.
The Government has now delayed the reading of the Bill until Monday.
We hope they will reconsider their position before then.
If not, MPs must stand with victims of cover-ups and vote for amendments that ensure that the duty of candour applies to intelligence services.
4/4
The Hillsborough Law could stop those cover-ups and the trauma they cause from happening in the first place.
But not if the Government gets away with this carve-out.
If they do, the law that passes will not be the Hillsborough Law that the Government promised victims.
3/4
If you want to know why this is so important, just ask families affected by the Manchester area attack.
The position MI5 put forward in that case was seriously misleading.
Only when the inquiry required individual officers to give evidence did that false narrative unravel.
2/4
At the last moment, the Government has weakened the Hillsborough Law with a carve-out that would place security services beyond scrutiny.
This is despite having agreed on a draft of the Bill that would have applied to intelligence services with NO RISK to national security.

A recent article in The New Statesman claimed that 'Britain's Inquiry culture radicalises victims'.
If wanting truth and change is what counts as being โradicalโ in Britain today, then perhaps the problem is not with us, but with what passes for normal.

During this Flu surge, wearing a mask will save lives and protect the NHS.
It's a small act which can make a huge difference.
If the Government is anything but completely clear about these facts, it risks repeating the mistakes of the pandemic.

Record levels of people in hospital with โflu.
#NHS facing โtidal waveโ of illness.
But apparently we should protect Kemi Badenoch from being โtraumatisedโ rather than protect peopleโs health by wearing a mask.
Also: please get vaccinated.
@cbffjuk.bsky.social
@longcovidadvoc.com
This is unsurprising, coming from somebody who was at the heart of a pandemic government whose negligence led to thousands of avoidable deaths.
Flu kills. Masks save lives.
Any politician who ignores these facts has no interest in public health.

Kemi Badenoch has rejected mask-wearing to curb flu, saying she is โstill traumatisedโ by โall the mask-wearingโ during Covid.
You know what's more traumatising than wearing a mask?
Having your family members die because politicians played culture wars with their lives.

We need benefit reform now.
Rich and powerful people, guilty of negligence in public office, should not have their lifestyles funded by the public.
It's time to end Boris Johnson's ยฃ115k a year benefit entitlement.

The Hillsborough Law is currently making its way through Parliament.
But there are those in Parliament who would like to see it watered down.
All of us who care about justice, and about making public inquiries work for everyone, must make sure that does not happen.
4/4
It would also ensure that victims of disasters and state-related deaths are entitled to equal legal representation at inquests and inquiries.
That would ensure equal access to justice for all, making inquiries more efficient and fair.
3/4
The Hillsborough Law would create a new legal duty of candour on public authorities and officials, to tell the truth and cooperate with inquiries.
That woudl help bring an end to the depressingly familiar pattern of cover-ups and concealment which delay justice.
2/4
The Covid Inquiry is essential for achieving justice for the bereaved and providing a blueprint to save lives in the future.
But the amount the Government has spent responding to the Inquiry shows why we need the Hillsborough Law now.

The verdict of the Covid Inquiry is clear: Boris Johnson's negligence led to thousands of deaths.
Yet last year, the public was forced to pay Johnson ยฃ115k in 'ex-PM' benefits.

In the wake of the Inquiry report, BorisJohnson is desperately trying to save his reputation by spreading lies and myths about his response to the pandemic.
So here is a reminder of what it is he would like us all to forget:
"My NHS colleagues & I werenโt willing to let the bodies pile high in their thousands. Boris no longer mentions them at all."
