Yeah I agree. I really didn't like the long drawn out killer POV footage in the basement. They took what made the first one good and discarded it for the sequel

I loved the first one, a slow burn chiller, I was very impressed. I really didn't like part 2 though. Fingers crossed they course corrected for part 3, I haven't seen that yet.

Dawn of the Dead - I really enjoyed that remake. We're covering the Black Christmas remake later this year actually so I hope it's as bad as everyone says

I've done this - it's so much fun!

This is a near perfect adaptation of the novella and is a very fun monster movie

I have respect for MBV3D for being a love letter to the original and for getting us that extended cut released. Otherwise yeah, these are bad films.

I have refused to watch it over these past twenty years.

It definitely has it's moments - the Indrid Cold stuff is nightmarish

Definitely give it a look - its the best possible translation of the novella to film.

I definitely think there was a lot of hype going in, but it delivered for me.
