On the whole it's absolutely filthy, but with a bit of elbow grease, nearly a full complement of new screws and some paint I think this bass will scrub up well

Work has begun on the Hondo! Now it’s mostly stripped down except for the pickups- their screws are too soft with rust so may need a plan B for them 😅

I think they're Panda Mk2 trims, off an Active base model. And tbh it's been a good while since I saw any Seicento at all

I think Unimogs are just a bit too expensive- and maybe a touch too big?- to really take off in such a scene

Ooh I got a good one. A good few years ago now, went to a garden centre which had a shed opposite the entrance. In the shed, blocked in only by the rotting husk of a 1997 Jeep Cherokee, was the bare shell of a BMW E9 3.0 CSi. They also had a 2001 Nissan Micra and 2000 Ford Transit in there though

And the year thing I truly don't understand. It happens a lot with imports, people listing the year it was brought to this country instead of the year it was actually built, but otherwise? Just look at the plate. Of course your 14-plate Audi A1 wasn't made in 2023, you must know that?

There's also another one that I question and it seems to be Autotrader-specific- listing either the wrong year or the wrong mileage. If you can't be bothered to proof-read the ad so it doesn't say that 67-plate Golf has done 8 million miles, I'm gonna assume you don't care

It's one of the biggest red flags IMO. Bad photos, no photos, no description at all... with the possible exception of covering the plates up (I always think that could be to hide something dodgy) it's one of the worst things a seller can do

It tells me the seller either can't be bothered or doesn't have a clue. Either way, not someone I'd want to buy from

I do think some drivers overreact. They're the ones who don't want to be responsible though, and see anything that might prod them towards doing things right (be it speed cameras or pedestrianisation) as an attack on their freedom to drive like a moron
