They didn't get a sunroof for the first couple of years- one would have to go in through the boot

04.03.2026 21:14 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I think Unimogs are just a bit too expensive- and maybe a touch too big?- to really take off in such a scene
04.03.2026 21:06 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Ooh I got a good one. A good few years ago now, went to a garden centre which had a shed opposite the entrance. In the shed, blocked in only by the rotting husk of a 1997 Jeep Cherokee, was the bare shell of a BMW E9 3.0 CSi. They also had a 2001 Nissan Micra and 2000 Ford Transit in there though
04.03.2026 18:46 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I don't imagine the sort of troglodytes left there would be happy with any EV unless it's a Tesla- sorry you have to deal with them. Still, the 5 looks like a fabulous thing
04.03.2026 12:32 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The entire space these two take up would be too small to park anything in to the American mindπ
04.03.2026 12:27 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I'm liking where this is going
02.03.2026 20:58 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0And the year thing I truly don't understand. It happens a lot with imports, people listing the year it was brought to this country instead of the year it was actually built, but otherwise? Just look at the plate. Of course your 14-plate Audi A1 wasn't made in 2023, you must know that?
02.03.2026 20:53 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0There's also another one that I question and it seems to be Autotrader-specific- listing either the wrong year or the wrong mileage. If you can't be bothered to proof-read the ad so it doesn't say that 67-plate Golf has done 8 million miles, I'm gonna assume you don't care
02.03.2026 20:52 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0It's one of the biggest red flags IMO. Bad photos, no photos, no description at all... with the possible exception of covering the plates up (I always think that could be to hide something dodgy) it's one of the worst things a seller can do
02.03.2026 20:41 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0It tells me the seller either can't be bothered or doesn't have a clue. Either way, not someone I'd want to buy from
02.03.2026 20:32 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Awesome outfits
02.03.2026 19:40 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Heck yea
02.03.2026 17:31 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I played all the older ones up to 6, don't have anything to play 7 on but I've watched others play it and I can't decide how I feel about it
02.03.2026 17:24 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I do think some drivers overreact. They're the ones who don't want to be responsible though, and see anything that might prod them towards doing things right (be it speed cameras or pedestrianisation) as an attack on their freedom to drive like a moron
02.03.2026 17:22 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Believe me, nobody on Threads can spell this one right either
02.03.2026 16:43 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A mint Fourtrak? Never have I heard of such a thing, round here you'd think these left the factory in a state of terminal decay π
02.03.2026 11:45 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Mainly a photo of a rainbow in the sky, but an LTI black cab was passing in the foreground
When it comes down to it, they're part of the scenery in any city (this is the only cab in my photos π )

01.03.2026 20:43 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 02016 Nissan Leaf, a school friend's mum got one to replace her very thirsty Toyota Previa. Very comfortable, very quiet, impressive interior space, all felt very nice
01.03.2026 15:09 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The whole thing gives me racing car vibes, especially the boxy flared arches. A lot of racing cars are butt ugly when you look past the decals though

Trying my hand at dispensing information again- given that RLS Career Overhaul lets you get paid for annoying cops, why not check out the best tools for the job?

27.02.2026 18:22 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It ain't one of those. Eventually figured out it's a Fielder
27.02.2026 16:43 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This stuff clearly has a market here, so do all the minibuses (Toyota Alphard/Vellfire/Voxy/Esquire/Noah/Estima/God only knows how many others)- does make me wonder why they didn't just sell them here to begin with instead of churning out generic slop like the Verso
27.02.2026 11:40 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The whole Accord and Civic situations... in the year 2000 there were three of each! Accord, "Euro" Accord and Accord Euro which wasn't actually a European model; and two of the Civics were loosely related but the connection between them wasn't a Honda at all
27.02.2026 00:54 β π 1 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0And yet Honda seems to do the opposite, instead of selling 3 cars under 45 names they sell 45 unrelated cars under 3 names and make it incredibly confusing
27.02.2026 00:38 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0General rule of life is, if Toyota made it, no matter where it was sold new, someone in Liverpool will be using one as a taxi. And when you think you know them all, there turn out to be 57 more that are near-identical
