During the Fall 2025 Faculty Workshop, BSK faculty and staff met at the headquarters for BSK’s Institute for Black Church Studies in Louisville, KY for the “pre-work” stage of a new initiative entitled, "Civil Rights Pilgrimage as a Vessel for Teaching through Trauma."

BSK student, Juliette Wallace, was recently invited to preach at Eminence Baptist Church in Eminence, KY! EBC invites a BSK student to preach every year, and has been a long time supporter of BSK. Juliette's sermon was entitled, "Selah" and her focus text was Luke 10:38-42.
