I cross this daily. I tend to get into the NB car lane crossing Denny and ride all the way to the intersection in the lane to avoid the diagonal crossing. You have to rely on the goodwill of drivers, particularly during rush hour when you're crossing with multiple other folks on bikes.

You can really feel the fall air and light these days. A tentative feeling, like the change of season is just holding itself back, waiting for the right moment to pounce.

We need a bigger national spotlight on this building raid, fam. Agents dropped from helicopters onto the roof. Citizens and non-citizens alike were dragged from their homes in the night. People who weren't kidnapped during the raid had their belongings seized after the fact. This is madness.

A nice thing about this kind of incident getting onto the Seattle subreddit, and then having very active comment sections, is that a lot of folks process exactly why this kind of protection is needed.
