Random character concept.

I'm not sure what the story is about yet. The character is a Crocodile-4 horned Antelope hybrid and is assigned to play the role "The King" in a game similar to chess. If they lose the game, their face is reveal and they are executed.

Fairies are extremely rare. However, they can be found in the forest, a woodland that no man dares to enter. There aren't many of them, and they rarely live long enough since branches grow from their faces, obstructing their vision. The weaker ones normally die as the branches grow; the pain is excruciating. Some have never found a way to live in that state. Those who succeed tend to begin to use the roots of their fingers to fill the vibration of the earth in order to navigate their way, sense movement, and kill those in their path.   One elder fairy befriended some wicked creatures, and you can occasionally hear their little laughs in the forest. Everything is a game to them, even though they struggle to get anything to eat due to their small stature. You see, they only drink blood. The elder fairy took pity on her newfound friend, so they made a deal: the small creature will navigate her through the forest and keep her company, and she will hunt anything that breathes to ensure they are nourished. An unusual duo, but they appear to be happy together.
