So far, Walter's and Franklin Hall have said they'll be open at 8 am for the US-Canada gold medal hockey game on Sunday. (And if you watch at the latter, you can stick around for the North London Derby...)

It's been free. But outside of winter, weekend reservations are very hard to get. (Every Saturday in March and some Sundays are already full.) The advantage of taking the bus is being able to show up and walk in without tickets.

D.C. area could see pasty snow Sunday into Monday. How much could fall? Our first estimate — subject to change — is for 1 to 3 inches, mostly accumulating Sunday night into early Monday.

Here we go again: Capital Weather Gang predicting "light accumulations of around 1 to 3 inches" of snow Sunday, BUT "cannot completely dismiss" a chance of "6 inches or more of snow by Monday morning."

Crowdsourcing the cheapest happy hour Guinness in D.C. Best I can think of is $6 pints until 7 pm at PJ Clarke’s. Anyone have a cheaper draft option? NB – Not asking for “best,” just “cheapest.”

• More importantly: All brewing equipment is staying in Shaw. "Another brewpub concept" is taking over, Cheston says, with details to be announced soon.

• Shaw replacement will *not* be a brewpub. Production brewing will take place in Brookland, and the previously announced Eckington location (coming this summer?) will be a brewpub. Shaw replacement will be a "restaurant," Cheston says.
