We need to stop blaming teachers for everything.

In 2020, WV teachers averaged $44k. In 2025, it’s $53k. To afford to buy a house in WV, you need an annual income of $118k.

Teachers and their salaries are not to blame for the challenges we see in ED.

Teachers will always “say the thing”

At some level, it gets impossible to sit here and track + fact-check the flagrant nonsense back down from conservative fever dreams to the nuanced, serious, important truths about what works in K–12 education...when they don't really care about the facts.
