Reading Pratchett was a whole other level of revelation. He put into words so many concepts I believed about the world (confirmation bias, I was very much the child of similar circles to his) but with dazzling clarity that showed me whole new ways of thinking

As a kid who started hp when I was 11 or so and just as they were becoming well known and discovered Pratchett a year or two later, the appeal of hp was always the marketing promise, that they would grow and deepen with me as I grew. And then they got big and the fandom experience was important

Aziraphale is dressed only in flowing, draping cloth, and is posed like he's dancing. Snake Crowley is wrapped all around his body, starting from his left foot, up to around his shoulders. They're looking each other in the eyes, and might smooch soon. The pose is based on the design on a neat little tea table I had seen at a nearby auction.

Aziraphale is in Crowley's bedroom. Crowley is asleep, in a nightgown tied at the shoulders with ribbons, and propped up on several ruffled pillows. Aziraphale had mutton chops, has removed his waistcoat, and is standing behind the headboard with one hand reaching over to hold Crowley's, and an open book in the other. He's reading aloud, to give Crowley good dreams. Crowley's pose and outfit are based on an illustration from a 1919 edition of La Vie Parisienne.

Aziraphale and Crowley are out in the wilderness, living out of a camper van. Crowley is standing and adjusting a telescope, as Aziraphale sits in the doorway of their van, with his cocoa and bunny slippers. They have rugs on the ground for comfort, a little teapot set up on a hot plate, and snacks and books tucked into the shelves on the van's door. Aziraphale is chiming in as Crowley talks about the stars. They're in love with the world, and each other.

I just love the thought of them traveling together (and stopping at every scenic overlook and free little library they spot along the way) 💫
