Without all of that, it would have been just another coffee shop AU (which *I* would still eat up - love that shit). But now, it's very special to me! π

And so, after that, she encouraged me to localize it even more - the rest is history! I wouldn't have been able to do it without her support. :)

But due to real life circumstances, I wanted to set this story in Montreal as a way for me to kind of explore some of my own life and feelings.
