Since brown dwarfs are perfect analogues for directly imaged exoplanets, the model can be a new tool for interpreting giant exoplanet observations. 🔍

Using mid-infrared spectroscopy with the #JWST, a team of researchers discovered a long-lived circumplanetary disk around the young, accreting exoplanet, Delorme 1AB b.
This is one of the first JWST detections of a circumplanetary disk! 🔍
