I was given a very cool gun to animate by Katja Linssen. Had fun coming up with different angles to show the different parts. It was also a good way to practice rendering in Unreal

26.10.2024 23:51 — 👍 90 🔁 6 💬 1 📌 0Added cuts to the back of a weapon grip with edge flow that doesn't account for the new details. There is also some adjustment where I removed edges to accommodate the cuts.
The new cuts are then beveled and extruded inward.
The edge flow is then adjusted to conform to the new cuts, with a support loop in the inner cuts. Note the ngons around the ends of the cuts!
Subdivided result.
Destructive modeling is my bread and butter. Helps when you forget to add a detail and realize you didn't plan for it.
