I found this immune cell (π΄) prying open the junction between the ectoderm cells from underneath. You can see its protrusions probing (yellow arrow) and threading through between the other cells before the whole cell body is squeezed through in 1 sweeping motion. So cool! #FluorescenceFriday

Hi thanks for sharing, I have one comment and two questions:
- this is super cool!
- what scope is it and why are cells so oily?
- what video format did you use to upload? It doesn't look too destroyed by compression

Cerebellar lobe of a mouse at postnatal day 10, with Purkinje neurons in white (stained for Calbindin expression) and granule cells fate-labeled in red (Cux2Cre activity).
I had the most amazing mortadella, pistachio, mascarpone, arugula sandwich, squeezed between two slices of fluffy focaccia for lunch. Didnβt last long enough for a pic. Thought I should share for no apparent reason.
Oh and hereβs my #FluorescenceFriday image of a neonatal cerebellar lobe.
