how similar yet different the two situations are. i think in both cases it marks a turning point in denji’s life but idk what the turning point is. anyways cant wait to read more. i might post some things i notice here as i go on so yippee 😋 (4/4)

makes it that much worse. also, just noticed that this scene parallels the scene in part two when denji is cut into pieces by public safety and everybody has to put him back together. the messiness of this, being hacked to pieces, compared to the surgical precision of the doctors who arrange (2/?)

starting my second read of chainsaw man today and completely forgot how gruesome denji’s death is in chapter one. seeing him being cut to literal pieces after living such a horrible life is just so heart wrenching and the fact that that’s considerably tame to what he goes through later on in (1/2)
