The tea plant is blooming!
Many more flowers, now this plant's getting more sun (neighbor cut back a tree).
Camellia sinensis. 🌱
So far, harvesting about two cups of tea a year.
I minimally process (wilt in sun) some new leaves each Spring and drink it as white tea.

By the way, this event was our first clue he could be vicious! Soon after we got him. He was put away when anyone came over, for the longest time after that. We just didn't know yet. Love how calm and safe he feels now.

He was so vicious when we got him 12 years ago, he almost got returned, multiple times!
Couldn't and didn't give up on him, though. Puppy mill abuse, poor thing. Lots of care and training.

I almost don't know what to say about this volcano, Joy.😂 There are many volcanoes out here, but this one is something else. Massive! And it plays hide & seek, not visible one turn of the road, taking over the sky the next minute.
There's a reason certain types are convinced aliens land there! 😂😅🤷‍♀️👽
