Why do their jobs depend on our votes? They're civil servants. Our votes have nothing to do with their jobs. The vast majority of federal employees vote Democratic anyway.

Easy for us to say. I can fight. I work for myself. I have my own retirement plan. I have no kids. Literally, their entire lives are wrapped up in the government. Their income, their retirement, their families' wellbeing.

Furthermore, the president could literally disappear them.

Because they need their jobs. What are they supposed to do?

Not everyone in the federal government is a Trump supporter. In fact, right about now, most of them aren't.
