Dunno, my approach is to try to like and enjoy things I’m interested in. Weird, I know.

I’m formally downgrading Frosted Flakes to a C-Tier cereal. Its taste is boring, gets soggy fast, and doesn’t make a good hand snack.

Ninja Gaiden 4 feels slick a few levels in and runs great on the ROG Ally X (not Xbox version). Picking a Top 20 (!) is going to be hard this year!

Not sure I completely agree, but understand where you’re coming from. I think the latest rake steps w/layoffs, cancellations, pricing nonsense, etc. really show where they’re at/headed. Keeper is a great counterpoint, but I don’t think much like it will be coming from Xbox moving forward.

The saddest thing about Xbox’s shift for me is that they’ve lost almost all the Sega-ness they had in them.

Boomblox, Little King’s Story, Zack & Wiki, Deadly Creatures, Pandora’s Tower…yup, you’re not wrong! But Dreamcast had a “cool factor” that I haven’t felt since and a lot of that came from Sega itself.

Dreamcast was the last weirdly cool console. Gaming has been too serious since.

Trust me, your game doesn’t need farming, base building, crafting, or survival elements to be good.

Mouthwashing is a great spooky season game, and really, a great game in general. It’s impressive how it manages to do so much with so little.

I desperately wanted to love despelote but found myself cold on it. Between the lack of guidance, slim storytelling, and nausea from the movement it just wasn’t my jam. Love the look, vibes, and cultural awareness/interest it sparked in me for Ecuador though!
