like wow someone made a bad decision better go tell everyone on my platform to block and avoid them forever because of this one thing they did and when they ACTUALLY own up to their mistake/bad decision let’s choose to NOT BELIEVE THEM and ask them why it took so long to held themselves accountable.

coming from someone who used to do this, i feel like my biggest issue with gen z is that a lot of us like to LOOK like good people instead of actually just BEING one. everyone is always trying to one-up each other on whose more “holier than thou” and not wanting to get “canceled”.
