Reminder that Starbucksโ€™ CEO made 6,666x more than the company's median employee in 2024.

This was the widest CEO-to-Worker pay gap in the entire S&P 500.

And we're supposed to believe Starbucks can't afford to bargain a fair contract with its unionized workers?

Another Alberta separatist leader is courting U.S. conservatives in Washington and Mar-a-Lago The Republican Party of Albertaโ€™s leader says he's meeting with U.S. officials to advocate for Alberta independence and strengthen ties.

American owned paper in Canada presents us the "spokesman" to break up our country.
Tadda: he's a former US marine.
They can't even find a real Canadian to be MAGA's quisling puppet.
Piss off back to the States dude and take your marine oath of loyalty with you.

First flu death of the season in Alberta amid warnings about potentially tough months ahead | CBC News Alberta has marked its first influenza death of this year's flu season, after last year's season proved the deadliest in more than a decade.

Please get your flu and Covid vaccines, if you have not already done so.

1st flu death of the season, and provincial (AB) data shows 36 COVID-19 deaths so far this season.

Also: Stupid AB charging $100 for Covid vax for most people, which is discriminatory and punitive for those w/ low/no income.

Never forget that Pierre Poilievre stood with the people who literally pissed and danced on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, tore down fencing to protect the National War Memorial. This group catapulted his leadership run. #cdnpoli #remembranceday

So anywaysโ€ฆ

You know how โ€œLast Doorโ€ is the UCPโ€™s most favorite recovery group ever?

Looks like their former employee who they allegedly tried to cover up for by deleting complaints from victims got sentenced to 3 years for sexual assault.

That the virus was more dangerous than the vaccine was pretty clear 4.5 years ago, though an enormous propaganda machine led by our current medical establishment claimed otherwise.

Flags, vaccines and buying the RCMP: 35 resolutions proposed for upcoming UCP AGM Members of Alberta's governing United Conservative Party will vote on a raft of policy proposals this month.

IMO
However bad Alberta is now, if some in the UCP have their way it'll get worse

From the UCP AGM proposals

"The resolution also calls for a โ€œpauseโ€ on the use of mRNA vaccines until โ€œsafety is independently verified.โ€

Horrifying

I tried booking online. The link took me to MyAlberta Health Records, and not an actual link to just book the appointment, like you'd expect

Called the local health office directly, got through, booked an appointment

General bookings for COVID-19 vaccines opened โ€” in theory โ€” three weeks ago in Alberta.

I still haven't been able to book any for my children.

Just tried again this morning and got hung up on again by Alberta's 811 HealthLink, with an automated message blaming "higher than expected call volume."

Democrats were overwhelmingly united on their shutdown demands.

Americans understood that Trump and Republicans were to blame.

Voters made it known last Tuesday that they'll elect leaders who stand up to Trump.

Democrats held the cards โ€” and folded for no reason.

This is entirely the fault of Pierre Poilievre, conservatives and right wing nut jobs.
They managed to turn health and science into a political issue.
And sadly people were all to willing to be misled.
When did Canadians become so gullible and stupid?

Canada has lost its measles elimination status.
A sad day, a win for anti-vaccine ignorance and politicized public health, a new age where children, families, and communities will face additional health risks for no good reason other than the comfort of joining others with similar fact-less beliefs.
