Just got very lucky and pulled Man-Spider from the Season S5 pack. Had a 1 in 6 shot and managed to avoid the zombie horde to snag this absurdly overpowered dude!!

A) I still have no Mirage variants, even tho she's a great card that I play lots.
B) this is a perfect split.

Standard behaviour...buff the archetype of the new SP card so that it looks better than it is. Then nerf the hell out of same archetype next season 😂

Also, Chameleon and Chord are both S4 cards??!?! This is very cool.

Going to be a good season...love the theme, excited about a few cards and keen to kick zombies to the kerb.

Now for the spicy one. Chameleon. Are we reaching saturation for copy effects? Prodigy, Frigga, Absorbo, Iron Lad, Bastion...these have all found good targets and Chamie will too.

This is the one I'm most excited to see what you can do with Lauren...bring on the combo absurdities!!!

Beyond that, Superior is energy gain and simple enough to activate. In another time, this would have been gamebreaking. I still like him, but there are alternatives.

Spider Punk in Move will be another option. Options are good...and Kingpin has needed another afflict partner to riff with.

There are some annoyingly good cards here. Chord is huge...1 cost tech that ALSO afflicts AND doesn't take up board space, amazing.

Prowler Tools are great and you will reliably get what you want (2/3 is better odds than Hawkeye 2/5 and Merlin 1/3). Discount optional...a great 'toolkit' card.

Superior is such a fun Marvel character, a little bummed that his card text isn't as cool. Still looks solid though...relatively simple to active, largely location/tech immune and extra energy wins games. Easy buy this week.

Marvel Snap being overrun by zombies has meant I've played a lot less this month.

I did crack a god split (purple Krackle + refraction) on Merlin and a triple Skrull against ongoing in Grand Arena recently though, so not all bad.

I always used to laugh at the 'off-the-grid' crazies...but every day they are starting to look far wiser than us.

Two whole meetings?

I had four scheduled on Tuesday morning this week. And then another two informal catchups. All before lunch. I long for the days where there is nothing in the calendar.......

The cynical me looks at this drop and realises that even SD didn't think this season was that great, considering they threw a profitable and popular variant theme into packs to get people to spend tokens instead of just hoarding this month.

Looks like a blast! Skills look like an obvious win with ZSW, as per Hope/Angela. Always love a sneaky Agony>Peni play too, severely underrated combo!

Unfortunately missing the big pieces here (ZSW, Viv, ZMrF and to a lesser extent Frankie), but will watch from the wings.
