Bought the kids tickets to The Show That Goes Wrong and they have just sat down in the theatre. I am quite overcome with envy. But it's lovely that son is now old enough to take his little sister out for a show in That London.

Replacement wash tent arrived. It's v fancy after my old storm-destroyed flysheet. It has a window, with insect netting! And a sunroof you can unzip if you want the full sky experience.

I think maybe the builder who uncovered it behind the old kitchen stove needs to go on an asbestos ID-ing course. I only noticed it when he had gone last Friday.

Latest is I think a builder might have uncovered some asbestos behind a stove on Friday. Earliest someone can come to check is Tue. We'll see... but the garden always cheers.

Spent today tidying this, on and off, because it's a nicer thing to think about than everything else going on, and because I have some chance of being in control of it. Tomorrow: beyond the pond!
