Also, most programs allow you to inject copyright and author metadata automatically. Please just put your alias (not real name, unless that's what you want) in there. I know most sites remove all metadata, but some don't! Make sure you know what metadata you're sharing with your files.

I second and third that! So often I've stumbled over a piece and gone 'wow, this is awesome' and there's either no tag or its some eligible scribble.
