Mine would definitely be Gradius V, Thunderforce 5, Dodonpachi Ressurection and Darius Gaiden….curiously most are Yoko shmups.
Honourable mentions go to TF3, Tatsujin, DDP DaiOuJou, Batsugun(still trying for 1cc) Andro Dunos 2 and Battle Garraga.
Not saying I don’t play others though.

These are 4 of the STGs (other than our own) I've spent the most time with and/or cleared, with honorable mentions to Parodius Da, Radiant Silvergun, UN Squadron, Deathsmiles I & II, Terra Flame, Devil Blade Reboot, Dead End City and DoDonPachi.

Which #shmups do you have the most experience with?

Ok so it ain’t pretty but it contains perfect arcade ports of 3 of the most iconic Sega arcade games.
It’s just missing the arranged music found on the Japanese version of Outrun but everything else is there.

It runs like a dream on the Analogue Pocket my dude. An expensive way to play it I know but it’ll probably cost about the same as getting a PC Engine in good condition and buying the original game….its quite expensive to say the least 😫
