On top of the roadworks on the motorway I can hear chugging away there is some sort of incredibly high pitched alarm or something. My eardrums are pulsing and the jelly in my eyeballs is vibrating 😖

Today was to warm 🥵 but my boss bought is all a cornetto so it's not all bad. Though my led hurts enough I've had to find my splint thingy. It's a look.

Well I'm more than an hour early 🤣 but the amount of time it took me to find the place I'm not leaving to find somewhere to sit to come back in 40 mins. So a larger at the venue bar it is. The uni surroundings are making me feel heckin ancient.

More times that I would like to admit I have bought tickets to things only to totally freak out and hide in my house under a blanket. I am so determined to not let that happen tomorrow. I shall drag this ass to Edinburgh, crowds be dammed, and see The Cryptid Factor. I. AM. ADEQUATE. I think.

Reading this. There is a sentient roomba called Rambo. You get one guess as to whose voice I hear every time he talks. Mostly he panicks. But he's a very brave boy.

I live a 20min drive from Glasgow. Usually about an hour on the bus. Today a round trip took nearly 4. I was only there for about 30 mins to pick up new specs (man my eyes are sore today). Spiderman apparently. Hope they aren't dangling Tom Holland off anything tomorrow. Going to blow a houlie.

Got an extra couple of day of work cause it's my birthday on Tuesday. Starting shenanigans with a bath and prosecco. Going book shopping with my mum Monday. If anyone has any recommendations they would be gratefully received. Anything in the queer pirate romance zone. Or a really good history book.

Podfic are my one if my favourite things I've discovered through this fandom. I can listen to awesome stories and craft at the same time. Brilliant! I wish I was brave enough (and technically competent enough) to give it ago. I'm a serial 'read book at people ' offender.

Finally had my overdue eye test. Apparently I need varifocals. I feel old now.

My cat is sick. Back and forth to the vet for a year now. Long term allergies they think. Burnt through 6 yrs of savings. My stress levels are high to put it mildly. Actually felt guilty about needing new glasses. But I need those to see to work to pay the vet. And I'd do it all again. I love him 🥺😩
