I started using a Wii fit to track my BMI recently, although that little voice can be brutal, honestly the silliness of it all helps keep me consistent and looking forward to tracking things.

I don't think we'll grow as an industry in many places until a few people lose the "games are for children" mentality.

People that legit run their studios still have this ideology here and it's keeping us pretty back.

So I'm all for piracy when it comes to consumers actually being able to own things.

However it's kinda sad to see piracy normalized in corporate settings when a company can very much afford a tool/resource but will choose to pirate it instead (and profit from that too)

Whatever backup utility you use it'd be good to use it as actual backups and not just another storage space.

Saving often is always the best practice rather than waiting for a task to be fully done cuz then you lose more if there's a need to revert.

More people need to actively be taught how to use git.

There's so many people that are afraid of it or even don't realize how useful it can be.

Hearing stuff like "one commit per task" is bonkers and defeats the purpose of having a backup. You wanna lose your entire progress on that task?
