Kila breaks her hesitation and sprints across the river to try to get in front of Sikso and protect the humans fleeing across the bridge. Kila: "Please stop! This isn't going to fix anything-" The ground collapses beneath Kila's right foot and it slides inwards.

Sikso starts to walk away. Kila: "Where are you going?" He looks through the windows of an empty office building nearby with a slight, unsettling smile. Kila: "What are you doing?!" Sikso doesn't reply. There is a crowded bridge in his way. He looks down at it.

Millicent: "Wait, no! There must be something we can do! Right?" Katie: "If there is, it won't be anything we can do sitting up here." Katie starts to pack up. The TV flashes an emergency alert - "EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY" Millicent: "Hold on, you're just going to run away? Even after everything I showed you?" Millicent: "Whatever happened to trying to help her?" Katie: "Because I still trust her to do the right thing." Katie: "Now please, trust me."

From Katie's apartment tower, Millicent and Katie watch as Kila and Sikso talk to each other. They are far away, obscured by the skyline, but still too close for comfort. Millicent: "They're both here!?" Katie: "We should probably leave."

Sikso: "It's all just lies... more lies..." Kila: "Look, no one told me to come here! My earpiece doesn't even work anymore. They're probably just as scared of me as they are of you at this point. Sikso pauses, staring down at the streets below Kila: "You are right, you know." Intrigued, Sikso glances back at Kila. Kila: "I'm sure a lot of them wish I wasn't around either. What they did to you... it could have easily been to me." Sikso: "Wha- what kind of trick are they playing on you now?" Kila: "It's not a trick!"

Katie: "You haven't asked them already?" Millicent: "I didn't come here because they told me to."

Millicent: "Fine, you want a good reason? I'll give you a good reason!" Millicent turns on the TV, which is showing a news report of Kila's previous antics, where she is sitting on the ground, scaring the townspeople. The headline reads "EVACUATION TO COMMENCE." Katie is horrified. TV: "...claims that it needs more time to prepare and deploy a specialized solution to eliminate the threat without unnecessarily provoking..."

Despite not expecting her, an embittered Katie allows Millicent to come up to her apartment. Katie: "Well, well, look who it is. You better have a good reason to be here." Millicent: "Katie, I... After thinking for a while, Millicent gets an idea, but she isn't too excited about it.
