MPs and public underestimate urgency of climate action, new UEA study reveals Fewer than 15% of UK MPs knew emissions must peak by 2025, raising questions about climate communication

Climate science is clear: emissions rates must peak in 2025 and go no higher.

But misinformation and wishful thinking push politicians – and crucial policy – off course.

We've already seen judges and lawyers being targeted as "enemies of the people". This increases risk of threats/attacks, while undermining judiciary as a whole. Couple it with Tory plans to scrap immigration tribunals and legal aid for people seeking asylum and it shows utter contempt for the law.
