Video shows Tufts graduate student grabbed off the street by federal immigration officials Rumeysa Ozturk, a Turkish national with a valid student visa, was arrested Tuesday on her way to meet up with friends to break her Ramadan fast, her lawyer said.

This is frightening beyond belief. An international doctoral student, legally studying in the US with a student visa, is kidnapped off the street by unmarked officers, saying they're the "police." Her only reported offense is co-authoring a pro-Pɑlestiniɑn op ed piece.

"Advocate for normalizing kindness, empathy and respect for all living things." 😬
